Terms & Conditions

Booking:

- Full payment for the session or event is to be made as soon as booking unless otherwise stated (Wellbeing Walks for Parent & Baby are exempt and are paid on the day). Your payment includes a £10 non-refundable deposit.

Cancellation Policy:

Online  sessions:

- We understand that sometimes, unexpected changes or delays can occur. If you need to cancel your online 1:1 session, please provide at least 24 hours notice. We will aim to rearrange the session at another time that is convenient for both parties.

Outdoor sessions:

- We may need to offer an alternative site due to ground conditions and will let you know the day before if there are any last minute changes

- In poor weather conditions (heavy rain, high winds or storms), we may cancel the session for safety reasons.  We will always try to notify you of a cancellation by 2pm, the day before via email and text (nb). In the event that the session is cancelled or cut short due to weather, refunds or replacement sessions will be given. 

- If you need to cancel your session / event, please email as soon as possible, ideally no later than 48 hours before the session takes place.  We will still go ahead in all weather conditions apart from the above (nb). 

- Please note that your booking has a £10 non-refundable deposit. 

nb - Additional notes for Wellbeing Walks for Parent & Baby only:

- We will aim to notify you of a cancellation (due to weather) by 9am on the day.

- If you are no longer able to attend, please let us know so we can offer a space to someone else (ideally by 9am the latest).

Indoor sessions:

- If you need to cancel your session, please notify us with 24 hours notice. We will aim to offer a alternative session as first instance

- If we need to cancel your session, we will notify you by email with 24 hours notice.

Refunds:

- We will not be able to offer full refunds to any session/event unless the session has been cancelled by 'My Mindful Self' for poor weather conditions or special circumstances i.e. illness of facilitator.

-If a participant cancels their place,  they will forfeit their £10 deposit.

- Under no circumstances shall we have any liability to you for any loss or damage incurred whilst using this website or reliance on any information provided.

Activities:

- Please note that very occasionally emotions and feelings can come up (sometimes in surprise) during a session and this is normal and ok. Nature is your teacher and a safe space to hold these. You can share as little or as much as you feel comfortable. Please respect other participants if anything unexpected arises or happens.

- 'My Mindful Self' does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. If you have a medical condition, we recommend that you consult with your physician of choice.

- Cars parked are entirely at your own risk and 'My Mindful Self' will accept no liability for damage to any vehicle parked for the session.

- All sessions have a detailed risk assessment which is updated when needed and reviewed annually. This can be made available to view if requested. 'My Mindful Self' always provides a verbal risk assessment before the walk or event commences.

- It is the responsibility of the caregiver to ensure that their baby is wearing the appropriate clothing and is being transported safely (pram/carrier).

Insurance Terms & Conditions:

- I am fully insured and can produce evidence if you require it.

- In order to comply with the terms and conditions of my insurance, I must state that 'readings are for entertainment purposes only'. This statement does not take away from how seriously I take my work or how important I feel it is.

- Evidence of certificates or qualifications are available to see if requested.

Recordings:

- Please do not record any sessions/events that you are taking part in

GDPR:

- Your data is held confidentially and securely in line with GDPR and is only used within the parameters you give permission for.

- I will ask permission for any photographs or videos taken whereby the person is identified. A permission form will be given to you to complete. Any photos or videos taken can only be used for 4 years.
